BOOKS - REVIEWS AND COMMENTS

Do people even read books anymore? WHACKO-TV constantly debates whether this show has any merit at all, but we need to fill time on our network, so we keep that LUMBER JACK BOB guy around. He works hard and pays his axes. On this episode, Jack Boy reviews three books: Moneyball, Interpretation of Dreams and HOW TO SHOOT VIDEO THAT DOESN’T SUCK. Once again, this show proves we review nothing and censor less.
OUR BELIEFS IN GOD, GHOSTS, GOOFY CANDIDATES
Lumberjack Bob is back with another riveting episode of The Book Nook. This time young Bob reviews Michael Shermer’s book The Believing Brain: From Ghosts and Gods to Politics and Conspiracies. With all that is going on from the far right to the far left to the Far East this is the perfect book to learn about the human brain and how it is prewired to believe in something. You can believe us, this is a good show.
ALBERT BROOKS 2030 BOOK TALKS ABOUT THE FUTURE
Lumber Jack Bob is back with another BOOK NOOK and this time he reviews a book written by ALBERT BROOKS called 2030. It’s about the future and what America will be like in 2030. With two guests, yes, the BOOK NOOK had quests this time; Albert Brooks Einstein and Swammy Davis Jr. join Lumber Jack Bob on WHACKO-TV.
KAMA SUTRA TIPS AND BITS
It’s too bad that LUMBER JACK BOB’s review of the book THE ART OF THE KAMA SUTRA was cut short by the SNOWGASM 2011 coverage, but WHACKO-TV felt compelled to keep its viewers up to speed on the snow that was coming down. Wolf Douglas covers the snow job, while Lumber Jack Bob covered the nine different unions. This is actually very good TV.
WHY DO PEOPLE WRITE ABOUT MORALITY; MAYBE TO BE IMMORTAL?

There are lots of books out there and we really don't know where LUMBER JACK BOB has time to read all those books, but he does. This time he takes on Sam Harris and his new book THE MORAL LANDSCAPE. Hear Bob riveting review of this remarkable religious take-down.  Only WHACKO-TV has this kind of nerve.

A BOOK ABOUT FUNNY PEOPLE THAT REALLY ISN'T THAT FUNNY

WHACKO-TV does what it can for education and culture, so with that in mind, we bring back the BOOK NOOK. This time Lumber Jack Bob reviews the new book SATIRISTAS! by Paul Provenza and Dan Dion. This book takes a look at all the great comedians and interviews them about how they make us laugh. One thing is for sure, we learn a lot about words and the funny letters we use instead of saying them.

Intelligent Design Challenged By Lindsay Lohan

The debate has been raging for sometime about Darwin vs. Intelligent Design. Lumber Jack Bob brings a third party into the mix, Mother Nature. This BOOK NOOK feature is usually played early Sunday morning during our public affairs programming, but this one created quite a stir. How did Lindsay Lohan get into this one?

New Conspiracy Theory: Dan Brown didn't write all those books!

WHACKO-TV brings back the Book Nook to prove that we actually still read books. Catch Lumber Jack Bob's cryptic analysis and critique of Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol, or was that The Lost Cymbal, because without a good cymbal, you can't have an effective marching band.

DAVID LETTERMAN ADMITS HE IS HUMAN AND SURVIVES ANOTHER DAY
In an effort to provide some uplifting programming, WHACKO-TV has added a new featurette called the BOOK NOOK. We find books that the New York Times have never heard of and gives you a top ten list to consider while you are surfing the net for books.
